What is Mobile Deposit?

Mobile Deposit allows you to make a check deposit via Rio Bank App, by photographing the front and back of the item with your iPhone, iPad or Android device and submitting that image for deposit to your account.

It's easy to get started:

  • Log into your Rio Bank Mobile app
  • Endorse the back of the check with Signature, Account #, Name and "For Mobile Deposit Only"
  • Select Deposit from the Menu
  • Select New Deposit
  • Select the account to receive the deposit & enter the amount of the check
  • Take a photo of the front and back of the check
  • Once image is sent, you will be prompted to confirm deposit amount
  • Click on Deposit History to view status and check image up to 45 days
  • Write on the front of the check "Mobile Deposit and Date" on memo line (Date is the date you deposited the check by Mobile Deposit)
  • Securely store your check for 15 days after deposit, and destroy after 15 days

  • There is no fee.
  • You may deposit up to $25,000 a day using Mobile Deposit.
  • Deposits made before 4:30pm (Central Time) will be processed on the current business day. Deposits made after 4:30 pm will be processed on the following business day. See Terms and Conditions for Additional information.
